Nonoscillatory Solutions of Second Order Differential Equations with Integrable Coefficients
The asymptotic behavior of nonoscillatory solutions of the equation x" + a{t)\x\' sgnx = 0, y > 0 , is discussed under the condition that A(t) = limr_00/, a(s)ds exists and A(t) > 0 for all t. For the sublinear case of 0 < y < 1 , the existence of at least one nonoscillatory solution is completely characterized.

* Correspondence: [email protected] School of Mathematical Science and Computing Technology, Central South University, Changsha 410075, P. R. China Full list of author information is available at the end of the article Abstract By using the critical point theory and S index theory, we obtain a new result for the existence and multiplicity of periodic solutions for a class of second-order...
متن کاملOn Second Order Homogeneous Linear Differential Equations with Liouvillian Solutions
We determine all minimal polynomials for second order homogeneous linear diierential equations with algebraic solutions decomposed into in-variants and we show how easily one can recover the known conditions on diierential Galois groups 12,19,25] using invariant theory. Applying these conditions and the diierential invariants of a diierential equation we deduce an alternative method to the algo...
متن کاملInitial value problems for second order hybrid fuzzy differential equations
Usage of fuzzy differential equations (FDEs) is a natural way to model dynamical systems under possibilistic uncertainty. We consider second order hybrid fuzzy differentia
متن کاملC-approximate Solutions of Second-order Singular Ordinary Differential Equations
In this work a new method is developed to obtain C1-approximate solutions of initial and boundary-value problems generated from a one parameter second order singular ordinary differential equation. Information about the order of approximation is also given by introducing the so called growth index of a function. Conditions are given for the existence of such approximations for initial and bound...
